Before we begin, you'll have the opportunity to benefit from an informal discussion with an experienced brand identity consultant. This gives us the chance to get to know you and discover your personality, outlook and passion. We'll talk you through our process, discuss your startup plans, and help you decide whether FIFWEBSTUDIO is the right choice for you. We don't believe in the hard sell, and you won't be pressured into signing up to anything on the spot.

Once you're confident that our process will work for you, we'll ask you to complete a detailed questionnaire. The questionnaire covers a wide range of subjects, from the personality of your startup's typical customers to your logo design preferences. This helps us to craft the perfect brand identity for your startup. We encourage our clients to complete the questionnaire using our secure online form.


Based on the initial consultation and your answers to the brand identity questionnaire, we develop a draft proposal for your startup's new brand identity. Taken as a whole, the identity proposals represent a brand positioning strategy that will add value to your business, differentiate your startup from its competitors, and facilitate the development of brand narratives that will engage your customers. The brand is developed so as to be future-flexible; your product, business or market conditions may change, but you brand will always remain fresh, relevant and engaging.

Our proposals will include a mission statement, vision statement, a set of brand values, tone of voice recommendations and a brand story write-up. We provide a detailed rationale for each proposal. At this stage, you're free to give as much feedback, and take as much time as you feel necessary. It's crucial that we proceed based on an identity that you’re 100% satisfied with.


Based on the initial consultation and your answers to the brand identity questionnaire, we develop a draft proposal for your startup's new brand identity. Our proposals will include name recommendations for your business or product. We’ll recommend up to 4 names that are a good fit for the proposed brand identity and target market, along with a rationale for each one.

We assess each name proposal according to a detailed set of criteria to determine which options are the most effective in terms of intellectual property protection, relevance and originality. Summarised findings for each assessment will be included for your reference. If you already have a name in mind for your business or product, we’ll include it in the assessment process so that you can gauge its effectiveness against the proposed alternatives.


Once the contents of the identity proposals are approved, we develop 3 logo design options for your startup. Whilst we draw heavily on the approved identity, each design is developed using a different rationale and approach, so that you have a real choice. We often call upon the talents of multiple experienced designers to ensure that a wide range of approaches are considered.

We offer up to three rounds of revision to your preferred design. Additional designs and revisions can be provided for a supplementary fee if required. Your logo files will be supplied to you in a wide range of common file formats, ready to be incorporated into any platform or medium.


The purpose of your logo usage guide is to ensure that your logo is displayed consistently and effectively across all formats and media, in every conceivable situation, whether online or in print.

The logo usage guide includes details on exclusion zones, minimum display size, greyscale versions, prohibited practices and colour codes.


The brand guidelines document draws together the material presented in your brand identity proposals and logo usage guide, along with additional material such as typestyle recommendations, colour palettes and visual applications. The purpose of the brand guidelines is to ensure that the brand identity is executed consistently across all media and consumer touchpoints, regardless of how your startup grows and develops.

The document is designed to guide you through the process of delivering consistent brand communications and customer experiences for your business. There are three key sections; About Us, Elements and Applications. About Us is a summary of your brand’s personality, identity and positioning. Elements outlines the visual and verbal aspects of your brand identity which, used together, make your business an instantly recognisable brand. Finally, Applications provides visual examples of how the branding could be applied across various formats and media.
